Still not sure
We are still not sure what direction R is going with his job. He has filled out several applications this week. Not all of them I would be too sure about, but am I open to just about anything that would keep the cash flowing. His company is still telling him that they may have a full time position in his home time. It is just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens. This would be the optimal thing to happen. However, I am just wondering how long it will be before that store would close. Although it is the only store of its kind in that town. We shall see. I am not losing hope just yet. I keep trying to tell myself that something bigger and better has to come out of this. I keep repeating - when one door closes another one opens. I am just trying to have faith and that is hard sometimes.
We are trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids. We have made some little changes this week that will certainly help financially. Like, dropping the long distance our phone service (which we never use) and changing insurance coverage on our cars. They are old and paid for so full coverage really is not a necessity right now. That can always be changed back if need be.
We have open house at M's school tonight. She tells me she has been working very hard on a project for it. I cannot wait to find out what it is.
D is pretty much potty trained. He does not like diapers at all any more. This is a problem for bedtime and we have had some struggles with it. Right now we are putting the diaper over his underwear. Fun times. He has also discovered shadows in his room and is scared to death! This is not good for our bedtime routine. I bought him a flashlight yesterday to scare away the scary stuff on his walls and he did sleep all night last night. Thank goodness.

We've burned out our flashlight.. which was too bad when the electricity went out in a storm and we actually needed it!!
