Five Ingredient Friday

Wow, we have been busy. I totally missed last weeks Five Ingredient Friday. Swimming lessons and summer school along with Girl Scout camp. Early mornings and late nights. I am so glad we are coming upon the weekend. We are having house guests tonight. My sister K and my nephew A. We have swimming lessons in the morning. Sunday we are going to my Uncle and Aunts for a swimming party. I don't do so well in the heat and its 95-100 degrees here. Girl Scout camp has been awful in the evenings. By the time it is over everyone is sort of cranky and all sweaty. Yuck.

My recipe is very simple
Homemade fried biscuits (like you can get at a chinese buffet)
1 package refrigerated biscuits
some vegetable oil (or any kind you prefer)
Cinnamon sugar

Heat oil in pan, put in biscuits. You have to keep turning the biscuits because the outside cooks pretty fast. I line a plate with napkins to set the biscuits on when done to blot off the grease. Top with cinnamon sugar. My family loves this. Simple and easy - what more could you ask for.

Well, how easy is that? I wuold have never thought of this. They actually sound wonderful for breakfast but they'd make a great appetizer, too. Thank you! I have canned biscuits in my fridge so this is a piece of cake.
