Five Ingredient Friday

Cheesy Veggies and Pasta

1 (8 ounce) package rigatoni pasta
1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups cubed processed cheese
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

DIRECTIONS:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until done.
Cook frozen vegetables according to package directions (I put them in the microwave for a few minutes)
In a small saucepan combine processed cheese, soy sauce and garlic salt. Stir over medium heat until cheese is melted. Combine pasta, vegetables and cheese sauce.

This is great as a side dish or you can add some cooked chicken or other meat for a complete meal. When I add the meat, I usually add a little milk too because the sauce is too thick otherwise.

This sounds like a great side dish. And I'm thinking you can easily add chicken or beef and make it into a main dish. Sounds really good. My husband's a HUGE fan of Velveeta so I'll have to try this.
