Well, I had a big long post and it has been wiped away. Not sure what happened, but I cannot seem to recover it.

Hawaii - the weather was beautiful~!! The winds were perfect to keep the air nice. Our hotel was absolutely lovely. We were right on Waikiki beach. We did so much walking that on day three I told R I could not walk any more until I bought a good pair of walking shoes. We went to the US Army Museum, Honolulu Zoo, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Macademia Nut Factory Outlet, Planet Hollywood, International Market, of course the beach, snorkeling, and I am sure there are other things. It was absolutely the time of our lives. I keep aching to go back. It was so hard coming back to reality. But, by Thursday I was really missing my kids and was anxious to see them on Sunday. Our flights were perfect with no problems other than the usual not enough room, could not sleep, etc. The time change was difficult to get used to when we got home. Fourth of July was fun. We took the kids Monday night by the river for a big fireworks display and the fireworks were just far enough away that they were not really loud. It was excellent. We went to a parade yesterday and it was miserable. The parade was long and it was SUPER hot! We went home and all did nothing for two hours. Then we went to my brother-in-laws house for a cookout and fireworks. We do this every year. The fireworks are very up close. D sat on my lap with M's coat over his head and would not look out the entire time. Both nights we did not get home until 11:30 and I am wiped out. D and M went swimming with their cousin while we were gone and I was told that D has started jumping off the side and into the water. He is only 2. I signed him up for swimming lessons and we start Saturday. The class for M's age is full, so I am not sure what we will do with her just yet. D was asked to be the ring bearer in his cousins wedding in April. We will really be looking forward to that. Should be lots of fun.

Thanks Kelly and Michelle.

Michelle is my sister that we roomed with in Hawaii. I think she had an equally great time!
