Oh how I love this time of year

Well, minus it being way too hot outside.
School is out!!!! Yippee!!! It is summer. M had a hard last day of school on Tuesday. She did not want the year to end. She really likes school and has always been ready to start back in the fall. I cannot believe my little girl is going to be a third grader. I remember the first day of preschool just like it was yesterday and WHAM - third grade.

So, what are we doing this summer? We have already started with hooking up our crazy and wild sprinkler and the kids have had a blast in that a couple of times already. We leave in 19 days for Hawaii. M and D are going to their aunt and uncles house for a week. I think they have plans to do some fun things. Sometime this summer we want to take the kids to an indoor waterpark that is 1 1/2 hours away. M will start summer school at the end of July thru Aug 11. School then starts back on Aug 14. Sorry, really summer will not be that long this year.
