The first day of the work week has proved challenging lately. Not the work part...the after work part. Last Monday we were home for two minutes and Dominic sliced his finger. Two trips to convenient care and three attempts at dinner his thumb was glued back together and we ate at 9:00 pm. Today, Tuesday, a flat tire. Thank God it was at Mackenzie's school right by her friends house. The friends uncle came shortly after we got there and was able to put the spare on pretty fast and we were on our way. Now we have a tire with a hole in it and are driving on a donut tire...nice, but realistic for driving on the interstate to work everyday. I will be taking the long slow way for at least two days until one of us is off to get it fixed. Oh well. That's life. Just glad that if it had to happen, it happened where it did. Thank God for genuinly nice people....
