Stuff

M has had some struggles with school. These are not new. She is slow and easily distracted. There is a lot more to it, but that is the easy explanation without boring everyone to tears. Yesterday we had our first appointment with a psychologist. He is pretty sure it is ADD. If there is anyone who reads this blog who knows anything about ADD will you please email me at banosteph@yahoo.com. I would like someone to talk to about this. It is going to be at least one more appointment before the diagnosis is able to be made. This is hard for me, but yet reassuring to know that we are getting some answers. More emotional for me than anything. M is a great kid. She is fun, loving and everything that a little girl should be, that is why it is so frustrating for R and I. We just want her to be normal!

She also saw the pediatrician yesterday for problems she has been having since last week with severe chest pain and heartburn. She was diagnosed with acid reflux and is now taking prescription medication.

We had Family Fun night at our church last night. It was complete with carnival games, the big blow up jumpy things for the kids and make your own ice cream sundaes. I totally enjoyed my ice cream last night. It was such a nice break from reality and the kids had a great time.
