Thank goodness its Friday. Dominic has a cold and has been coughing all night long. The poor kid has such a bad gag reflex that he cannot take any medicine without throwing it right back up. So that is pointless. I hope he is better soon (for both of our sake). Mackenzie has had a rough couple of weeks at school. She is in 4th grade and really starting to sprout her independence. Mom and Dad officially know nothing and I am certain that only gets worse. She got into trouble for talking too many times while she should have been doing other things in class. And she just forgot to turn in an assignment this week. It was done, in her folder and she forgot to take it out and put it where it needed to go. This all added up to a note home and we have to come up with ways to correct the behavior. Nice. At least she has a four day weekend to be thinking about it. It is too freakin cold. I could not get the hood of my car up this morning to put windshield wiper fluid in. I had to ask a man to help me. Thankfully he was nice about it and even poured it in for me. I have not thrown up all week so maybe that means that morning sickness took a leave of absence. It is much appreciated. I cannot think of any baby names that really stand out. We could always go back to Dominic's original choices of Munkle and Chunkle. He has called the baby Madeline a couple of times. Not sure where that came from, but it is a bit better than his first two choices. Hope everyone stays warm and enjoys their weekend.
