This is my second attempt at blogging

I am going for a little more privacy. Not because of anything that has happened, however, I have come to the realization that too many IRL people knew about my blog and I could no longer post things I wanted to.

Moving forward......I am currently surrounded by my two wonderful children. I am typing, playing a game of Go Fish with M, while she is playing with my hair and D is handing me everything he can find saying it is mail. Wonder how long it will actually take me to get this post up.

In the last month we have painted and redecorated our bathroom. It is "butterfly bush" yellow and decorated with....can you guess? If you answered butterflies - you win. No prize, sorry. We also painted our dining room. It is "covered wagon"...I would have never guessed that would be the name of a paint, however it is and the color is more of a peachish-brown. It was as awful as it sounds, in the beginning. Now it looks better than I had ever imagined. My sweet hubby collects lighthouses and we have many. The dining room in decorated with them. My mom came over last night and put up our vertical blinds. The white makes the wall color look amazing. She is also has an awesome knack for hanging pictures and knowing just where to put them to look nice. I had to run to the store and return a set of blinds that did not work and when I got home she had hung most of the pictures by herself.

Next weekend is M's birthday and her 1st Communion. I am freaking a little beacuse my house is in disarray. But, people will come no matter what the house looks like. They just may never come back again. Kidding. We are having a big bash after 4:30 mass and 1st Communion. Speaking of which, I probably should get off the computer and get dressed. We have to go shopping for shoes and a slip for M for next weekend.

M&D are going to the Y for Partent's night out tonight. Said parents are going out for Chinese and who knows what else we will do.
